It's been a while, mostly on account of our amazing co-teacher has moved to second grade! So I've taken on the challenge of keeping up on blog posts. I'm going to be using the rest of this year to see if my blogging skills are enough to keep everyone up to date on our journey through third, so wish me luck! You should expect to see a new blog post HOPEFULLY every few weeks.
This posts highlight is going to be all about our exciting Persuasive writing unit coming up after Spring Break. We plan on teaching our third graders to write a Persuasive letter on a topic of their choice, and also composing a PSA (Public Service Announcement) of their choice as a final project. It's going to be hard work, but not to worry - our Good Thinkers are always up for a challenge! Once I get a final Template and Student worksheets finalized, I will link it up.
